Holy Saturday

There isn’t really a lot going on except that everything is centered on preparation for tonight’s vigil: fire, fresh flowers (Easter lilies, tulips, daffodils, and many more, thanks to the Easter flower donors) and plants, the brand new pricey font, not really my choice, at the center of it all, restoration of the images, statues and crosses to their respective places, decorations of all sorts predominantly white with accents of silver and gold works just fine, He is Risen banner suspended on the left wing, rehearsals for readers recommended, not sure yet what to do with the Exsultet, push comes to shove, guess it’s me. I better be prepared. I ordered a Risen Christ last year but early this week, I was told, still in the Philippines and takes at least a month to ship. Men, this is big time liturgy. Amen.
